A camel safari in Jaisalmer offers an opportunity for the tourist to experience life in the silky desert sand dunes of the Thar desert. We have begun a small enterprise in safari tours. So far they have been very successful and all of my patrons have been extremely satisfied.
We offer bespoke tours that are designed specifically for each guest and their individual requirements, you can take a jeep safari or a camel safari. On the camel safari there will be one person per camel. Your safari can include a sunset with evening meal or sunset with evening meal and a night in the desert where you will be entertained by the camel drivers in the typically Rajasthani style, playing music and singing. Your camel drivers will freshly cook your delicious meal. You will then sleep on clean mattress’s prepared with clean bed sheets under the stars or in tents, plenty of blankets supplied if required.

HALF DAY CAMEL SAFARI
The tour starts from Gajanand Guest House at 13:00. Traveling by jeep you will be visiting the desert villages of Amar Sagar, Mool Sagar, Kuldhara, Dedha, Jaseri Lake and Khabha Fort. At around 15:00 you will start your camel ride arriving at the dunes in time for sunset.
Your camel driver will prepare masala chai and coffee at the dunes and you can enjoy the magical sunset. They will also prepare dinner and a camp fire allowing you to enjoy the evening of clear skies and sparkling stars on an evening you will never forget. At around 21:30 you will return to Jaisalmer by jeep.
FULL DAY CAMEL SAFARI
The tour starts from Gajanand Guest House at 08:00. Traveling by jeep you will be visiting the desert villages of Amar Sagar, Mool Sagar, Kuldhara, Dedha, Jaseri Lake and Khabha Fort. At around 09:30 you will start your camel ride and on your journey you will visit some remote desert villages and witness their desert life.
12:30 to 15:00 will be lunch time, prepared by the camel driver and you can rest under the shade of the trees.
At around 15:00 you will start your camel ride arriving at the dunes in time for sunset.
Your camel driver will prepare masala chai and coffee at the dunes and you can enjoy the magical sunset. They will also prepare dinner and a camp fire allowing you to enjoy the evening of clear skies and sparkling stars on an evening you will never forget. At around 21:30 you will return to Jaisalmer by jeep.
OVER NIGHT SAFARI

In the morning you will enjoy breakfast with the sunrise and a short camel ride back to the jeep meeting point for your return to Jaisalmer
JEEP SAFARI
Jeep safaris can be organised on an individual requirements basis and will be of a similar format to the camel safaris.
